DiversaMente Fattoria nasce nel 2018, quando Giovanni decide di unire la sua esperienza di assistente soiciale alla sua passione per l’agricoltura sociale e rigenerativa, convinto che da questo binomio possa realizzarsi un progetto da tempo coltivato con sua moglie Sandra:
“Produrre cibo sano e nutriente per costruire una comunità che accolga e valorizzi tutte le forme di diversità“
Diversità da valorizzare e accogliere in ambito sociale, diversità da tutelare e mantenere vive in ambito agricolo, perché prendersi cura dell’ambiente, dei terreni, dei suoi frutti equivale a prendersi cura di se stessi.
La logica che anima l’approccio all’agricoltura di Giovanni e Sandra è dunque diametralmente opposta a quella che vede lo sfruttamento dei terreni al fine di trarne massimo profitto; nel loro progetto, il terreno diventa un luogo di incontro per innescare percorsi condivisi di sviluppo territoriale, di sostegno alle fragilità e valorizzazione della persona.
